worry jar
write it, scrunch it, seal it.
you choose how long the jar stays shut. a week, a month, a season. it can’t be read early, and that’s the point. when the time is up you can open it and decide whether it’s still true. most of the time it isn’t.
grief shelf
place something for someone.
give them a day to remember, and once a year i’ll cross the shelf, set a candle down beside it and kneel there a moment. nothing asks you to move on, and the shelf can stay full forever.
anger matchbox
write it on a match and strike it.
it chars away from the bottom up and the ash drifts out of frame. nothing is saved, nothing is archived, and the words never touch the disk. gone is the feature.
the room
or just sit a while, and breathe.
pull up a seat and the lamps go down, the tea lights catch one by one, and i come and rest on the arm of the chair. nothing to write, nothing to finish. stay as long as you like.
make it yours
a room you’ll want to come back to.
change the walls, the floor, the light, the chair, and what’s out the window. even what i’m wearing. the three vessels are always free; the room is just for keeping you company.
on your iphone, your ipad, and your mac.
the same small room, wherever you keep it, and it follows you between them, quietly.
the cost
the room is free.
the jar, the shelf, the matchbox. all of it. put something down whenever you need to. i won’t charge you for that.
if you want to change the wallpaper, or give me a scarf, that’s empt plus. once. i won’t ask again.
what’s yours
i don’t look inside.
what you write stays on your device, and in your own icloud if you want. no account with me.
i keep the light on. i don’t read the slips.
the app store
i’ll keep the light on.
empt is free on the app store for iphone, ipad and mac. come whenever you want, love. i’m not going anywhere.
